Ruffles here, ruffles there, for Cruise 2010, ruffled swimwear will be everywhere! Sure, we’ve all seen those adorable ruffles on skirted bottoms from previous seasons, but this season, ruffles will be featured on tops and bottoms in a number of different ways! For those of you who love to show off your girly side, you’ll love this season’s ruffled swimwear. Check out some of our favorite styles that we’ve already received…
One of the most classic ways to do ruffled swimwear is with either a halter-top or triangle top
paired with a skirted bottom with ruffle detail, as seen with Classic Gauze by Juicy Couture. If you like this classic ruffled swimwear look, check back later because we’ll be getting many more similar styles in from some of our favorite designers, like ViX!
This season, one of the most popular ways to do ruffled swimwear is with a sexy ruffle bandeau top and a matching ruffled bottom. One of my favorites is Ebony Ivory from L Space, which features gorgeous layers of ruffles and lace on the front of the bandeau top and on the back of the Brazilian hipster bottom. This unique take on ruffled
swimwear is especially great for girls who are smaller up top and in the backside area, and it’s sure to create some curves! We also have similar styles, like Pleated Gauze by Juicy Couture, Gypsy Pink by OndadeMar, and New York by Melissa Odabash!
Finally, if you love one-pieces and want to join in on the ruffled swimwear trend, this season also has a number of sexy one-pieces with ruffles, including monokinis! Check out chic styles like Circle Flounce by Karla Colletto, Kyoto Garden by JETS by Jessika Allen, or the Wild At Heart Swimdress by Guess Swimwear.
