Bazaar One-Piece: Blast From The Past

Wednesday, September 30, 2009

As I’m sure you all know, it’s extremely common for once-popular styles and trends to make huge comebacks—even those that should’ve probably been left behind in history (case in point: the mullet and the leather hot pant).  However, the good ones always seem to get picked up by designers and are then recreated in modern and interesting ways.  This is exactly what happened with ViX Swimwear and its once-popular Seamless One-Piece.  ViX designer Paula Hermanny took this popular style, breathed new life into it, and brought it back for the new 2010 Cruise Season.  The new Bazaar One-Piece by ViX Swimwear is taking it back old school and getting back to basics.

The Seamless One-Piece from 2003 was a stunning black swimsuit, but what made it truly unique was its innovative design.  The one-piece from ViX Swimwear featured a single piece of seamless fabric without any lining, and it was held up by a thin piece of stretchy rubber material that stuck to you for a close and comfortable fit.  The sexy black one-piece also featured innovative lettuce-trimmed edges, which was a nice contrast to its overall smooth texture.  The result? An unparalleled sleek and sexy silhouette, that made ViX Swimwear one of the most unique and innovative companies of its time.

Since 2003, the seamless style has been redone a number of times, but with the new Bazaar One-Piece for Cruise 2010, ViX Swimwear proves that the classic design will probably never go out of style.  Bazaar is a chic black one-piece featuring a single cut of smooth seamless fabric.  Like its predecessor, the Bazaar One-Piece is held up by a thin piece of stretchy rubber material that sticks to your body, and it is surprisingly comfortable.  The Bazaar One-Piece from ViX Swimwear also features a white lettuce-trimmed edge at the top, which adds some subtle contrasting character to the classy swimsuit.  The look is chic and clean-cut, and the flattering one-piece silhouette is sleek and sexy—nothing less than sheer sophistication.

The seamless one-piece design from ViX Swimwear may be a blast from the past, but the style is very much alive for 2010, and like the original, we expect it to be quite the crowd-pleaser.
