Kourtney Kardashian in "We Found Love" by Beach Bunny

First let’s go to the always gorgeous Kourtney Kardashian—my favorite of the famous sisters.  She’s known for her quirky sense of humor and of course, her chic sense of style.  She rocked the We Found Love bikini from Beach Bunny back in 2011—a style that Kourtney Kardashian actually originally helped design for the 2011 Kardashians for Beach Bunny Swimwear Collection!  The nautical-inspired look is so classic for swimwear, which is probably why Beach Bunny decided to re-invent the bikini for the 2012 season.  Good job, Kourt!

Moving on, we have the other bikini bombshell, Tinsley Mortimer.  You may not know much about her, but you’ve probably seen her face plastered all over the celebrity gossip mags!  The New York socialite is a descendent of John Mercer—the man responsible for writing the first Code of Virginia.  When she’s not designing, writing or making public appearances, Tinsley Mortimer seems to enjoy some beach time!  Last year she was spotted in the We Found Love bikini (designed by Kourtney Kardashian) from Beach Bunny Swimwear while vacationing in Miami Beach and the nautical bikini looked awesome on her!

Slit-Front Dresses

If you purchased the Dolly Bandeau from L Space Swimwear, it was probably love at first try… unless you put it on incorrectly!  Like in the picture, your Dolly fringe swimsuit top should feature the fringe overlay detail along the bust, NOT hanging down below the bust.  Flip it so the inside tag is on your left.  Wear it the right way to mimic celebrities like Rihanna, Denise Richards, Melissa Gorga, Chrissy Teigen and more!

Kendall Jenner rocked the Santa Clara bikini by PilyQ!

Another Kardashian-Jenner bikini sighting comin’ at ya!  This time, we spotted Kendall Jenner rockin’ a pretty pink bikini from PilyQ Swimwear and she looked absolutely fab!

A few weeks ago, the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan (minus Khloe) headed down to the Dominican Republic for a family vacay.  The paparazzi had a field day and snapped photos of the entire fam in their favorite swimsuits, but Kendall definitely stole the spotlight!  She wore the new Santa Clara beaded two-piece by PilyQ Swimwear in magenta while going for a random donkey ride—at least she remembered to put a blanket down!  The triangle top and embellished bikini bottom flattered her figure and the bright hue is perfect for any Caribbean getaway!

The Melissa Dress is one of my fave maxi-style cover-ups, mostly because of its bright apricot hue.  Orange is one of the hottest colors for 2012 and this maxi’s right on trend!  The tiered ruffle detail adds some great texture and the strapless modal design makes it easy to throw on and off.

Another one of my favorite maxi dress cover-ups is the Niza Maxi by OndadeMar.  Colored animal prints are a huge 2012 trend and I just love this bold leopard print with pops of pink!  This maxi dress has an open back, adjustable drawstring waist and chic ruffle detail.  And the rayon fabric is perfect for summer!

This next pick is from one of my favorite Australian brands—Seafolly Swimwear.  The Saltwater Crush maxi features a boho-chic tie-dye print with a flattering smocked bust.  Maxi dress cover-ups like this are perfect for the beach, pool or even that upcoming music festival!  Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza… here I come!

If you couldn’t already tell by my previous picks, I’m a huge fan of prints and bold, notice-me styles, so of course the Uluwatu Dress by ViX Swimwear made my list.  This is by far one of the most beautiful maxi dress cover-ups I’ve ever seen!  I love the colorful ombre-striped print and sheer silk fabric.  And the low-cut open back is super sexy.

Last but not least we have the Tori Long Dress by Tori Praver.  This is another awesome festival-appropriate piece but it’s also perfect for the summer days ahead!  Although it may look like your ordinary tank-style maxi dress, there’s more to it than meets the eye.  It has a sexy side slit, chic racer-back design and adorable pocket detail.  I love cover-ups in modal/lycra blends like the Tori Dress—they’re definite wardrobe staples and are perfect for any warm weather occasion!

Animal Instincts

One of our favorite 2012 styles from the new plus-size swimwear line is the Animal Instincts tankini.  Just because you’re plus-size does NOT mean you have to rock a one-piece all the time!  Tankinis are some of the best one-piece alternatives around and this new Becca ETC Swimwear style is HOT!  The one-shoulder a-line tankini top is so chic and looks great paired with the matching foldover bottom.  Furthermore, the blue and green python print is fierce and totally on-trend, as colored animal prints are among the hottest prints for swim and resort this season.
