Bikini Don't!

Thanks to the ever so friendly paparazzi, it’s pretty clear that celebrities love them some designer swimwear… maybe almost as much as we do!  Celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Alba, and Heidi Montag are all frequently spotted sporting their many designer swimsuits.  But perhaps more than any other celebrity, Kim Kardashian should consider quitting her day job (remind me what that is again?) and think about becoming a designer swimwear spokeswoman. 

However, judging from the Internet’s endless supply of Kim Kardashian bikini shots,

 we’ve come to the conclusion that this sexy socialite may need some help in the designer swimwear department, specifically in finding the right styles for her curvaceous figure.  In the overwhelming majority of her swimwear photos, Kim Kardashian is caught wearing string designer swimwear bottoms that make her hips appear even wider than they really are.  As gorgeous as she is, Kim Kardashian has been caught wearing unflattering designer swimwear styles from a number of designers, such as Pomegranate by Anika Brazil.

Women who have very curvy hourglass figures, such as Kim Kardashian, generally want to avoid swimwear bottoms with very thin sides (string bottoms), since they further accentuate the hips, making them appear wider and even curvier.  At the same time, these women also want to avoid designer swimwear bottoms with very thick sides, like hipster and boyshort styles, which diminish and detract from the sexy hourglass figure. 

Recently, however, People Magazine featured an article on Kim Kardashian and why L*Space is her must have designer swimwear.  She was photographed in the “Glamorous Top” and “Hollywood Hipster” bottom, both of which look amazing on the young socialite!  Way to go Kim, this time you nailed it!
