Designer Maryan Mehlhorn
German swimwear designer Maryan Mehlhorn was awarded on September 4, 2010 the Designer of the Year prize. This prestigious honor was presented to Mehlhorn by CEO Marie-Laure Bellon-Homps at the swimwear and lingerie exhibit in Mode City in Paris. More than 70 journalists from all over the world were there to record and recount this amazing day for an extraordinary designer.
Lidea Dunes Bikini
At the event Mehlhorn launched her Rainforest Project. The Rainforest Project is partnered with World Land Trust, and its goal is to protect the rainforest from further deforestation. The following evening Maryan Mehlhorn swimwear showcased the Lidea collection of animal print swimsuits for support of the project.
One swimsuit that was surely featured was the Lidea Dunes Bikini. This leopard print bikini has great underwire support with a padded top and adjustable shoulder straps. The matching bottoms have small side rings for a sexy but full coverage very feminine look.
