Welcome to our first ever bikini look-alike challenge!  For Cruise 2010, we’ve got two gorgeous new two-piece swimsuits that bear a particularly striking resemblance—Classique by JETS by Jessika Allen and Mandalay by Seafolly Swimwear.  In this bikini look-alike challenge it’s the battle of the Aussies and you decide the winner!

Classique by JETS Swimwear by Jessika Allen is one of the most “classic” looking swimsuits of the season.  This gorgeous black bikini features a crisp white trim and shows you that black and white swimwear never goes out of style!  The bandeau-style halter top has a sexy-cut neckline and features white halter straps, molded cups, and a circular center detail.  The top is paired with a skirted bottom with flattering full back coverage, creating a subtle feminine touch.        

Mandalay by Seafolly

Mandalay by Seafolly is also a classic and sophisticated looking black and white bikini, but this Seafolly two-piece also features shimmering gold trim, which adds a touch of pizzazz.  Similar to Classique by JETS by Jessika Allen, this sexy Seafolly bikini features a molded cup bandeau top with halter straps.  Furthermore, the top features a center ring detail, and is paired with a longer and fuller skirted bottom.

Collective Red by JETS by Jessika Allen is a sexy cutout one-piece, also known as a monokini, and it’s definitely one of our favorite one-piece styles.  The great thing about this monokini is that it has substantial front coverage and it’s not too scandalous, so it’s perfect for those of you who want an upgrade from your traditional one-piece swimsuit.  Also, this monokini features specially designed booster padding that’s sure to uplift your holiday spirits!

Next on our haute holiday wish list is the Slinky Black two-piece by L Space Swimwear, featuring the stylishly sexy wrap top.  This two-piece is part of the Slinky Solids line from L Space, which has been newly improved for 2010.  The new line of Slinky Solids is made from the sustainable produced Sorona fiber from Dupont, and the manufacturing process involves fewer petrochemicals, which are harmful to the global environment.  This year, go “glamorously green” while still staying classy in black!

3. Chandelier Cover-Up – Becca Swimwear
Speaking of green, the Chandelier Cover-Up by Becca Swimwear will definitely leave others green with envy!  This tunic-style cover-up features a sexy plunging neckline and is ultra-flattering for your figure.  Furthermore, the fabric of this cover-up is nice and lightweight with just a hint of sheer to it, and the gorgeous print is reminiscent of stained glass windows.  But wait, it gets even better—this tunic is only $68!

Finally, the last item to make the cut for our haute holiday wish list is the Fit Black flip-flops by Havaianas.  These Brazilian flip-flops are one of the newer styles from Havaianas, but they’re just as comfortable as the others!  The Fit-Black flip-flops feature the same classic Havaianas design that you’ve come to know and love, but they also have an adjustable strap that goes behind the ankle for added style and support.  The hot new style is perfect for anyone, and it’s just $30!

Lolita by Guess Swimwear

Remember a few years back when everything—from tops and dresses to shoes and bags—seemed to be done up in denim?  Well for Cruise 2010, I’ve been seeing a lot of denim swimwear styles popping up in the different collections, and I wonder—is the trend making a comeback, or did it never really go out of style in the first place?  Well whatever the answer is, denim’s definitely making its way back into the designer swimwear industry for 2010!

This season, one designer brand that took notice of the whole denim swimwear trend is GUESS.  The new Lolita two-piece features an adorable halter bandeau top with fold-over detail and a floral print center bow.  The top is paired with a matching boyshort swimwear bottom that even has a cute little back pocket and gold bejeweled detail!  Although you can’t see the lining, this denim swimwear style also features a luxe floral print lining that matches the center knot detail on the bandeau!  And if you thought it couldn’t get any better, you were wrong… the Lolita two-piece is only $96!

Denim Monokini by JETS Swimwear

JETS by Jessika Allen is another designer brand that’s caught on to the whole denim swimwear trend this season.  The new JETS collection features the Denim Anthology two-piece as well as a similar monokini style.  The two-piece swimwear style showcases a long triangle top with a contrasting orange and white multi print, paired with a matching boyshort bottom.  If you love the denim swimwear trend but prefer one-piece styles, check out the Denim Monokini, which features sexy booster padding and great front coverage.  Both of these JETS styles look like your typical blue jean material from afar, but the material is ultra-luxurious and soft to the touch.

24K Catwalk Monokini

Here at InStyleSwimwear, we’ve all got a bad case of monokini fever!  New designer monokinis from the Cruise 2010 collections have been arriving daily, and we’re loving all of them!  We’ve already received over 12 different designer monokinis from a number of different designers, and although we love each and every one of them, here’s a peek at some of our faves:

From Vitamin A Swimwear, we’re really loving the 24K Catwalk Monokini.  If you like designer monokinis in this style, but you’re not crazy about the glamorous gold color, we also have it in an ultra-chic black, and we’ll also be getting a bold ultra-violet color in as well!  The 24K Catwalk Monokini may be a bit Foxy Cleopatra-ish, but it’s super sexy and you’ll be sure to stand out from the crowd!

Party'n My Cabana

From the new Guess Swimwear collection, our favorite by far is the adorable Party’n My Cabana Monokini.  It features a pretty floral print that makes for an ultra-girly look!  In addition, this monokini features a sexy front cutout section with an adorable ruffle-trim detail.  But if you’re more into styles that have a touch of badass attitude, try designer monokinis like Chain Gang or the animal print Skinny Monokini.

Denim Monokini

Finally, from the new JETS by Jessika Allen Collection, we’re loving all of the designer monokinis that feature specially designed booster padding!  We especially love the new Denim Monokini that we just got in the other day.  Denim definitely seems to be making a comeback for 2010, and what’s so great about this monokini is that the fabric is ultra-luxe but still looks like denim from afar, and it also features a chic contrasting orange print!
