Cruse 2010’s here and in full blast! With all of the new designer swimwear styles arriving daily, it’s an exciting time at InStyleSwimwear, to say the least. Although I’ve mostly been blogging about the new 2010 swimwear arrivals, I haven’t forgotten about all of the sexy new designer cover-ups that we’ve also been receiving. So this post is all about the tunics, the caftans, the dresses, and more—get ready to take cover, because Cruise 2010 is comin’ at ya!
One of the most common ways to cover up at the beach, pool, wherever, is with short designer cover-ups, like lightweight tunics or dresses that fits loosely around your body. Two of my favorite 2010 cover-up styles are Briony by Melissa Odabash Swimwear and the Tangier Flower Dress by OndadeMar Swimwear. Both styles of designer cover-ups are colorful and fun, and the lightweight cotton fabric is just sheer enough to create a seductively sexy look! To pick between the two designer cover-ups would definitely be a hard one, but I guess it comes down to if you prefer a simpler solid or a girly paisley print!
For those of you who prefer to go ultra chic and classy, you could always go with designer cover-ups like long and lean dresses. But don’t let that extra fabric fool you—these cover-ups are also light and airy, so you can really breathe friendly! Remember last year’s chictacular designer cover-ups from Vitamin A Swimwear? Well, we just got a new style in, featuring a sexy strapless neckline! The Diamond Crochet Onyx Dress is made from a combination of luxe lightweight fabrics, like vicose, polyester, and nylon, which makes this dress perfect for replacing those standard designer cover-ups that everyone’s always rockin’. Also, it’s lined up top, so you don’t have to worry about any unwanted boobage on the beach! The high slits are definitely a plus and are a surefire way to up your sex appeal.
Regardless of the style or design, cover-ups are highly versatile, as you can wear them to the beach, the pool, or even out to the club! Just remember—designer cover-ups can be casual when dressed-down and more elegant when dressed-up. For Cruise 2010, don’t forget to cover up!
