Hands down, this is our favorite time of year; at the annual Miami Swim Show, we get to witness the unveiling of the new designer swimwear styles for the upcoming Cruise 2010 collections. This year’s range is sizzling with style, and we can’t wait to share the new designer swimwear styles and trends with you come this fall. In the meantime, here’s a small glimpse of what’s to come.
One designer swimwear trend we spotted at this year’s Miami Swim Show is swimwear in rich and lush paisley prints, especially in shades of purple and teal. These colors are gorgeous on any skin tone.
Among the more elegant swimwear trends we saw for the upcoming swim season are the different asymmetrical styles, including the chic one-shoulder look. We spotted these designer swimwear styles in sleek one-pieces, as well as one-shoulder bandeau tops.
In general, bright colors, especially fluorescent pinks and electric yellows, were all the rage at this year’s Miami Swim Show. Also, the tie-dye craze was transferred over from the streets to the designer swimwear fashion industry in bold new colors.
Finally, we couldn’t get enough of the ruffles and fringes featured on the different swimwear styles…including chic one pieces! The upcoming swim season’s skirted bottoms with little frills will do wonders for hips, while bandeau tops and triangle tops with ruffles and fringes will create the illusion of a fuller bust. These girly designer swimwear styles were just too cute for us to handle!
